The proposed project includes an ultra luxury resort, villas, an island mansion, and distributed assets. The site and program posed environmental and condition based challenges, and detailed analysis was completed on the site conditions. This analysis informed the eventual architectural proposal as well as the primary and finish material proposals and the sustainable systems proposal.
The R&D team addressed materiality and sustainability on the island, as well as curated and contributed to an extensive physical material palette that exhibited in Saudi Arabia.
